I photographed this rhythmic gymnastics performance with the intention of moving beyond a literal description of the scene. Using Intentional Camera Movement, I wanted to translate what I felt while watching the athletes: the repetition of gestures, the concentration, and the quiet tension that exists between balance and release.
The image moves away from documentation and toward abstraction, inviting the viewer to experience rhythm, balance, and discipline as visual memory. Soft tones and controlled blur give the work a contemplative quality, making it well suited for refined interiors and collections focused on contemporary photography and movement-based art.
