Part of the series “Gente al Mare”, this photograph opens a visual exploration of people walking along the Adriatic coast of Romagna. Madre e Figlia, the first image of the project, portrays two women strolling along the shoreline, suspended between presence and memory.

The composition unfolds through the recurring three-part structure — sand, sea, and sky — a visual language already present in other works I did. The softened movement of the figures transforms an ordinary moment into a contemplative scene, evoking intimacy, time, and quiet human connection.

Rather than documenting reality, the image preserves an emotional impression of the sea and those who cross its horizon.
