On a scorching July day, the sun was blazing as it illuminated my kitchen, and I watched one of these onions. The afternoon light slowly crept through its layers, highlighting the deep purple of its core. It was as if the onion was telling a silent story, a story of earth, sea, and sun.

I took a photograph of that moment, hoping to capture at least a fraction of its beauty. The light dancing on its surface, the contrast between shadows and reflections, all come together in an image that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do.
