In this piece, I explore the intersection of discipline and ephemerality. Captured during a rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal, the figures are stripped of their sharp reality, transformed instead into vibrations of light and shadow.

The high-contrast emphasizes the "echo" of the athletes—suggesting that the grace we see on stage is built upon a thousand invisible, ghostly repetitions in the gym. By muting the color palette into sepia and pale gold tones, I intended to evoke a sense of nostalgia and timelessness, turning a modern sport into a classical dance of silhouettes.
